Six brilliant and diverse start-ups battled it out at the Digital Summit Euregio on 19 May 2021! They were pitching for all their worth, because there was a total of € 7,000 💰 up for grabs – not to mention a whole load of fame 💥!
The founders of Brajuu, HealthX Future, Ibilight, Flux Robotics, pipeline and tretty presented their start-ups to the hardest jury in the world (aka the #DSE2021 jury) and the whole audience! They pitched their ideas, prototypes and business models – with just one goal in mind… to walk home with the FutureLAND Award 🏆!
The FutureLAND Award is sponsored by the Sparkasse banks in Münsterland. ❤️
Brajuu – FutureLAND Award Winner 2021! 🏆
80% of women wear uncomfortable bras and over 75% get returned. We’re using our data-powered bra-fitting technology to solve these problems and recommend customers the perfect bra. We collect our data by asking women to take our intelligent FitQuiz, where we ask them about their favourite bra at the moment and their breasts – no measuring tape in sight! We’re using our #boobtech platform, Brajuu, to build a unique bra and breast database. After all, we firmly believe that #alltitsaregoodtits!
Ibilight – FutureLAND Award Finalist 2021! 💥
One million elderly people live all alone in the Netherlands. The ibilight makes it really easy for them to stay in touch with their family and overcome their loneliness. Their family members can conveniently control the ibilight via an app.
The potential of safe, magnetic actuation techniques and robotic-assisted surgeries has been investigated inside the Surgical Robotics Laboratory at the University of Twente (Enschede, the Netherlends). At SRL, Mr. Christoff Heunis, under the supervision of the principal investigator, Prof. Sarthak Misra, has designed the Advanced Robotics for Magnetic Manipulation (ARMM) system with the sole purpose to provide a highly flexible and safe working environment for both patients and vascular surgeons. The main benefits of such a system would be to have faster interventions, higher steering accuracy, and a more efficient hospital and surgical staff.
Our idea concerns the socially relevant field of elderly care, where we want to optimise processes to ensure better working conditions for professional caregivers and improve the care given to those in need.
HealthX Future combines the communication and collaboration of everyone involved in elderly care in one app. The initial focus will be on inpatient care for the elderly, but the idea could be extended to outpatient care, day-care or intensive care in the future.
pipeline is an app that works like a personal magazine. The aim of pipeline is to create a platform for like-minded people to share their thoughts and views on sophisticated topics and build a bridge between regional and niche blogs with high-quality content and an active readership. We want to make pipeline the first point of call for high-quality articles in a personal network. That’s why pipeline combines editorial content and its own social network. The topics are tailored to the interests of each user – and we ensure full transparency about the data we store and use. The combination of a modern magazine, relevant topics and a personal network gives you everything you need on your way to work, on the train or just to relax and pass the time!
