Twente Board

The Twente Board is a triple helix cooperation between representatives of the government, educational institutions and entrepreneurs in the Twente region. The objective of the Twente Board is to stimulate measures that imply regional economic growth in Twente, with a focus on the region’s powerful sectors, entrepreneurship and innovative strength. Central to this are the retention and strengthening of business activity, attracting and retaining talent and increasing the earning capacity of the region and the Netherlands. The Twente Board stimulates investments in technical innovations, focuses on accelerating the circular economy and encourages Twente to be an attractive border region to live and work in. The Twente Board is constantly seeking cooperation from international partners, with specific attention for the border regions in Germany.
