Short CV:
Sebastian van Deel founded his first e-commerce and online marketing start-up in Münster back in 1999 and accompanied it as a partner for over 15 years. After studying information management in Cologne and gaining professional experience in the USA and UK, Sebastian van Deel worked as a management consultant for BearingPoint on federal and state eGovernment projects between 2007 and 2019. Since 2019, he has been Head of the Digitalisation, Industry and International Division at the IHK Nord Westfalen in Münster, where he focuses on topics such as advanced manufacturing, AI and cyber security.
Sebastian van Deel is also working on setting up a joint technology programme with the Netherlands in the areas of energy (battery and hydrogen), circular economy, advanced manufacturing and medtech.
