Dr. Fritz Jaeckel

Short CV:

Dr Fritz Jaeckel has been Managing Director of the North Westphalia Chamber of Industry and Commerce since 2018. After completing his military service, he studied law in Passau, Lausanne, Würzburg and Heidelberg. After his 2nd state examination and doctorate, Dr Jaeckel worked in the Saxon State Ministry of the Interior and the Saxon State Ministry of the Environment and Agriculture. He was Minister of State for Federal and European Affairs in the Free State of Saxony and Head of the State Chancellery. Dr Jaeckel was also a member of the Bundesrat, the ZDF Television Council and is a member of the WDR Board of Directors. In addition to memberships in numerous organisations, Dr Jaeckel was state commissioner for reconstruction after the NRW 2021 flood disaster in autumn 2021.
