Artificial intelligence - game changer for business and labour
No other digital technology has spread as quickly as generative AI. The hope of productivity effects of up to 30 per cent, competitive advantages and a significant contribution to solving the shortage of skilled workers are causing investments to increase worldwide, even if success has not yet been "proven".

Dr Holger Schmidt has been involved in the digital economy for 25 years. He is Editorial Director of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung newsletter and is responsible for the D:ECONOMY briefing, which analyses the relevant developments in the digital economy every week. He also teaches "Digital Transformation" at the TU Darmstadt.
