Alexander Sommer is Head of Digital Networks & Innovation at items GmbH & Co. KG and is jointly responsible for the development of the DMO - Datacenter Münster Osnabrück. His focus is on the question of what role cities and municipal utilities can play in the digital world and the resulting fields of action. He is also co-initiator and organiser of the Münsterhack for digital urban development and co-founder of Civitas Connect e.V., a municipal cooperation platform for digital services of general interest. While freeride skiing and jogging, he also explores new paths off the beaten track in his private life.
