Since May 2020, Sabrina Mertens has been Director E-Commerce for the digital business of the specialist retail chain for baby and toddler equipment BabyOne. In this position, the 40-year-old is expanding the online business, pushing the link between stationary and online retail and helping to transform the family business into an agile and KPI-driven omnichannel company.
Sabrina Mertens can look back on 15 years of experience in retail and e-commerce. Before joining BabyOne, she advised retail companies and built networks in the industry as the head of ECC Köln, the digital unit of IFH Köln. At the same time, she co-founded coadvise eG, a cooperative for independent digital consultants, and then took on a board position. She also gained further trading experience as Head of E-Commerce at the former Otto subsidiary 3Pagen-3Suisses.
