Liesbeth Holterman


The digital world is changing rapidly. This requires new and innovative ways to keep us digitally safe. But what are these challenges? How do preventive measures relate to detection and response? What are effective ways to protect us from cyber criminals and state actors? In this presentation, Liesbeth Holterman gives an insight in contemporary threats in relation with our own cyber hygiene responsibilities.
Liesbeth Holterman is a historian who immediately plunged into the world of digitization after her studies. At the General Intelligence and Security Service (AIVD), she came into contact with the field of cyber security. After the AIVD, she worked for several industry organizations (NL Digital and FME). In her current role, she is and cybersecurity expert at Novel-T, were we help new companies to emerge, and existing companies to innovate. Furthermore, she works at Cyberveilig Nederland, the industry organization for the Dutch cybersecurity sector.
